Thank you for choosing Gran Del Val Honey Process Geisha Coffee. This is a rare and exceptional coffee — the honey process preserves the fruit mucilage during drying, creating a sweeter, more full-bodied cup with rich tropical fruit notes and a syrupy mouthfeel.

Brewing Recommendations

  • Pour Over (recommended): 1:15 ratio (16g coffee to 240ml water), 200°F water, 3-4 minute brew time
  • French Press: 1:15 ratio, coarse grind, 4 minute steep at 200°F
  • AeroPress: 1:14 ratio, medium-fine grind, 2 minute steep at 195°F
  • Espresso: 18g in, 36g out, 25-30 second extraction

Storage Tips

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture
  • Best consumed within 4 weeks of opening for peak freshness
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze opened bags

Grown in the highlands of Boquete, Panama, our Geisha beans undergo a meticulous honey process where the coffee cherry's fruit layer is left intact during drying. This imparts a natural sweetness and complexity that sets it apart from washed varieties.
