Thank you for choosing Gran Del Val Pacamara Coffee. The Pacamara varietal is a bold, distinctive coffee originally developed in El Salvador — a cross between Pacas and Maragogipe varieties. Known for its exceptionally large beans and complex flavor profile, Pacamara delivers a memorable cup every time.

Brewing Recommendations

  • Pour Over (recommended): 1:16 ratio (15g coffee to 240ml water), 200°F water, 3-4 minute brew time
  • French Press: 1:15 ratio, coarse grind, 4 minute steep at 200°F
  • Drip: Medium grind, follow your machine's standard water ratio
  • Espresso: 18g in, 36g out, 25-30 second extraction

Storage Tips

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture
  • Best consumed within 4 weeks of opening for peak freshness
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze opened bags

About the Origin

Our Pacamara beans are grown in Panama and carefully selected for their quality. The large bean size allows for even roasting and full flavor development, resulting in a cup with bright acidity, chocolate undertones, and a smooth finish.
